Hello and welcome to my website. I am Neil Armstrong - a scriptwriter (not the astronaut) based in the North East of England. I have written for TV, Film and Theatre professionally since 1989. My scripts have been nominated for awards by BAFTA, The Writers Guild of Great Britain, The National Comedy Awards and my most recent play "Remember Jim" won "Show of the Year" at the Sunderland WOW Culture Awards 2014. I specialize in comedy - I love a good story and have a strong urge to entertain people with the characters and situations I create. I have written for all ages - on the site you will find details of all my work which ranges from plays for children to a piece I was commissioned to write for and elderly theatre group and all points in between.
